Arla Plast to start solid sheet line in Sweden
Time:2008-08-27
Arla Plast is continuing its expansion with a new solid sheet line at its plant in Borensberg, Sweden. The extrusion line is expected to be on stream next month, said the Swedish company.

Over the past two years Arla Plast has been investing in new capacity. It most recently added a second extrusion line for multiwall polycarbonate sheet at its facility Kadan in the Czech Republic, which started operations in 2006

Investment at the Borensberg plant has increased its capacity for transparent and opaque PC and PETG sheet. The new line will also provide more flexibility to service customers demanding high quality products, it added.

Leif Nilsson, managing director of Arla Plast, said: “The new line will continue to strengthen our position in the market. The line will increase the needed capacity but also allow us to have wider product portfolio in terms of thickness and sizes of products.

“We also look forward to developing innovative products with high quality on these investments and to serve our valued customers.”
